NVIDIA and X.AI decided to join a recently created infrastructure megafund to raise $ 30 billion to be invested in the Artificial Intelligence Data Center (AI) and related energy infrastructure. In a statement, Blackrock said on Wednesday, 19, that the chip manufacturer Nvidia and the X.Ai, by Elon Musk, which houses the Grok AI platform, are the latest companies to join the so-called AI infrastructure partnership (AIP).
Blackrock, through its Global Infrastructure Partners, Microsoft and MGX, which is supported by the United Arab Emirates government, launched the new background in September last year.
The first Challenge of the AIP is to ensure $ 30 billion in initial capital and eventually mobilize up to $ 100 billion, including debt financing, Blackrock detailed.
The partnership also involves General Electric’s subsidiary General Electric, and Nextera Energy, which will accelerate the development of different energy solutions needed for AI data centers.
