The secret is a meat addition. Brussels sprouts will even taste the kids

Brussels sprouts are a product that not everyone likes. However, the point is to give it properly – when we have a specific idea, we can convince even the youngest. Check how delicious this is Brussels sprouts. Thanks to meatballs, he gains a new character.

Soup:

  • 600 ml of poultry broth,
  • 300 g of fresh or frozen Brussels sprouts,
  • 300 ml cream 36%,
  • 200 ml of milk,
  • 50 g tartego sera cheddar,
  • 2 slices of smoked bacon,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • ½ teaspoon oregano,
  • ½ teaspoon salt,
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper.

Meatballs:

  • 1 kg of turkey minced meat,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 1 handful of fresh coriander,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper,
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated garlic,
  • 2 teaspoons of granulated onion,
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano.

Additionally:

  • Frying oil,
  • Spring dill.

Prepare meatballs.

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients to obtain a uniform consistency suitable for forming. Small balls with a diameter of about 3 cm.

Heat a small amount of oil in a large pot. Put the meatballs in batches on hot fat and fry them from each side to light browning.

Transfer the meatballs to a separate plate.

Prepare the soup.

Slop the Brussels sprouts if you use frozen. Clean the heads and cut them into halves, and larger pieces for quarters.

Cut the bacon into small cubes and squeeze the garlic through the press or chop. Fry them together in a large pot until the meat is crunchy.

Add broth, milk, cream and spices to bacon and garlic. Bring the whole to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook covered for about 15 minutes.

Add Brussels sprouts, grated cheese and meatballs. Cook the whole for the next 10 minutes until all the ingredients are ready.

Serve the Brussels sprouts warm, sprinkled with chopped dill.
