The government has announced the maintenance of the support of 4,000 euros for the purchase of an electric car, however, extending the limit of the eligible price for higher capacity cars. Now, light passenger vehicles with more than five seats can benefit from support as long as their value does not exceed 55,000 euros.
This enlargement aims to promote sustainable mobility and respond to the needs of numerous families, making electric vehicles a more accessible option for different consumer profiles.
New price limits and who can apply
The reference values for the incentive remains distinct depending on the vehicle category:
-Electric carrons up to five places: price limit of 38.500 euros (including VAT and associated expenses);
-Electric carrons with more than five seats: Extended price limit for 55.000 euros.
Incentive applications for individuals will be available From next weekbeing possible to obtain a check up to 4,000 euros.
Already for Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS), Municipalities and Transport Authoritiesthe incentive remains in 5.000 euros.
More incentives for electrical chargers
In addition to support for vehicle purchase, the government maintains incentives for the installation of electrical chargers in multifamily condominiums.
The allowance covers 80% of the cost of the equipment, up to a maximum of 800 euros per charger.
Installation costs will also be supported by 80%, with a limit of 1,000 euros per parking place.
However, each owner may benefit from the incentive only for one charger, and the condominium is limited to ten porters in total.
