The plane had taken off from Hangzhou’s Chinese city to Hong Kong, but had to be diverted to Fuzhou Changle international airport on the incident. After landing, the passengers were removed from the aircraft by emergency stairs. No one was injured.

“Hong Kong Airlines flight HX115, from Hangzhou to Hong Kong today, deflected and landed safely at Fuzhou Changle International Airport due to a fire in the upper compartment, which was successfully extinguished.”
