The measure, sanctioned by Mayor Railson Ferreira da Silva and published in the State Official Gazette (DOE) this Thursday (20), establishes the payment of R $ 100 per class hour to participating teachers. The meetings will take place fortnightly, two hours long, allowing a maximum bonus of $ 400 per month between March and November.

Payment will be subject to proof of presence and active participation in the meetings, under supervision of the Education Secretariat. The resources will come from the municipal budget, with the possibility of supplementation if necessary.

The initiative seeks to value education professionals and strengthen teaching qualification. New similar programs will depend on specific regulation via the executive decree, respecting financial and educational guidelines of the municipality.
