Regular washing of window frames not only improves aesthetics, but also extends their durability. Unfortunately, after winter, we often notice that white frames yellowed and discoloration appeared on them. However, contrary to many advice available on the web, we strongly advise against using milk with abrasive properties, as they can damage the PVC protective coating, and as a result the frames will be even more zealous. So what to restore their snow -white color after winter? Use a baking soda for this, which works on the frames like bleach, and it copes well with dirt. Mix 5 tablespoons of soda with 1 liter of water and wash with the resulting liquid frame of the window frames. Finally, wipe them dry and they will look like new.
Homemade whitening paste for yellowed window frames
In a situation where the window frames are heavily soiled or visible on them are difficult to remove discoloration, it is worth preparing a slightly more concentrated paste from baking soda. Pour a pack of baking soda into the bowl, pour 10 drops of lemon juice and add a little water – enough to create a paste consistency. Apply it to the soft side of the sponge or cloth and apply it to the frame. After a while, clean the frame with a soft brush. Remember not to free the mixture on the frame for too long. Then wash it thoroughly with warm water. So well whiten. They will look as if they just left the production tape.
