More than 70 intellectuals, political and social movements of 20 countries will meet in São Paulo from April 7 to 10 at the Dilemmas of Humanity Conference: perspectives for social transformation.
The opening ceremony of the event will take place in the PUC field, in the neighborhood of Perdizes, and should be attended by the Minister of Finance, , From 18h.
It should also participate in the Vijay Prashad (India) opening, director of the Tricontinental Institute of Social Research of India.
On other days, the stage of the debates will be Sesc Pompeia. The conference is promoted by (Landless Rural Workers Movement), Tricontinental Institute for Social Research and International Assembly of Peoples.
The event aims to propose solutions and reflect on experiences in the elaboration of public policies and governance, as well as alternatives to capitalism.
Participants include Mexican economist Josefina Morales, Russian Yaroslav Lissovolik, the country’s advisor, IBGE President Marcio Pochmann, and MST National Coordinator, João Pedro Stedile, among others. The event is in its fourth edition.
