Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greenable on Wednesday said he will communicate with French President Emmanuel Macron on a daily basis and visit Paris next week. He said this after Macron unexpectedly phoned him during a press conference, TASR reports according to AFP.

“Yes, I talked to President Macron,” Zelenskyj said after receiving a call during a press briefing.

The Ukrainian President further told reporters that his country had received “several” other F-16 fighters; However, he did not provide details about their exact number or who.

Ukraine received its first supply of these fighters of American production last year, recalls AFP.

Greeding said he was discussing with US President Donald Trump on the proposal of the United States to take over the ownership of the Russian occupied Zaporozka nuclear power plant (Zaes), located in the Zaporozka region in the south of Ukraine.

“We talked about one nuclear power plant, which is under the Russian occupation,” said Greeding, referring to Zaes.

According to Zelensky, Russian President Vladimir Putin does not want to agree with the proposed ceasefire in the fighting in Ukraine until Ukrainian soldiers fight in the Russian Kursk region.

“He does not want a ceasefire while our soldiers are in the Kursk region,” said Greeding to visit Finland during an online press conference.

As he added, he is not exposed to any pressure from US President Trump to make concessions to Russia during the negotiations to stop the Russian invasion in Ukraine.

“I didn’t feel any pressure today. That’s a fact,” Gremsky said after a phone call with Trump, who informed him about the details of his weekly conversation with Putin.
