The minister of the (Federal Supreme Court) determined to companies and X to inform the PF within ten days the data accounts of profiles used by the scholarship influencer Allan dos Santos, under penalty of a fine of $ 100,000 per day in case of non -compliance.
The minister answered a request from Fake News investigations against journalist Juliana Dal Piva. Investigators want access to data from those who created another account using Allan dos Santos on Instagram and also all posts in this account and another in the X (former) held between June 2024 and February this year.
Both accounts are down. The influencer is prohibited by Moraes from creating new accounts on social networks, but has been trying to circumvent the decision. Allan dos Santos is also the target of two arrest orders issued by Moraes, but is on the basis in the US. The country has no prospect of extraditing it as the conduct pointed out by the Supreme Court in the arrest orders would not be considered a crime by US law.
Allan dos Santos has lived in the since 2020. He is also investigated in another PF investigation that investigates a campaign to attack and expose data from researchers who worked in cases involving former president and his allies. It was within this investigation, revealed by UOL, that Moraes ordered last year, again, the arrest of Allan dos Santos.
The request has already been sent to the US authorities, but there is no prospect that it will be fulfilled. In the United States, posts made by the influencer are not seen as criminal, so the chances of the government to meet Moraes’s determination are small.
In addition, Big Techs have recently shown alignment with Trump’s government. Elon Musk, owner of the X, even earned office in the US government. Owner of the goal, he announced the end of the company’s checking policy in the US in a clear US president.
