After a three-week process, the serious judgment against Greenpeace was determined: A court in the US state of North Dakota condemned the environmental protection organization to pay more than $ 660 million to Energy Transfer Partners, one of the largest energy companies in the USA. Greenpeace USA had already warned in advance that a conviction could mean the end of the office in the country. Wednesday afternoon Central European time was still unclear whether the organization would go into appeal.
