Nexus study reveals that X users are the largest favorable to the government bill
Study of Performed from publications on social networks revealed that 82% of users who opined on the expansion of the IRPF (Individual Income Tax) exemption on social networks are in favor of the bill. The data were collected from Tuesday (18.mar.2025) on Wednesday (19.mar).
The research considered 4,218 Posts in X (former Twitter), Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. Among them, the 450 most engaged publications, which accumulated 97% of interactions.
It was found that among the posts, 46% were opinionated and 54% neutral. Opinative publications are predominantly from politicians, with 34% of the contents being made by this group – which includes parties, parliamentarians and executive members. Among the neutral posts, the press – vesters, regional press and independent portals – represents 78% of publications.
In all the platforms analyzed, the positive repercussion surpasses the negative.
The study shows that the social network X concentrates the largest percentage of opinionated posts. Of the total, 82% of the publications analyzed on the platform are favorable to the proposal and 18% are against. On Facebook, among the opinion posts, 87% support the measure and 13% are against. THE Network of the highest neutrality is YouTube, with 65% of the posts without defined positioning. On Instagram, 21% of the opinionated posts are against the Income Tax Bill and 79% in favor.
