The National Roads (EN) 120, which connects Alcácer do Sal to Lagos, and 396, which serves the Loulé Industrial Zone (Algarve), were cut off early Friday morning due to bad weather, GNR said.
According to the same source, these are the only two national roads that are still cut off because of bad weather, after a “calmer” night.
On Thursday, Portugal Infrastructures (IP) reported on the EN 120 cut in the municipality of Aljezur, Faro district, due to the risk of sliding caused by bad weather.
While the EN 120 connects Alcácer do Sal, in Setúbal district, Lagos, in the Faro district, the EN 396 serves the Loulé Industrial Zone and is parallel to the variant that connects Loulé to Quarteira (Algarve)
