Do the terms mean toxic and perfidious?

In books, magazines, social media and conversations, today is often the speech of toxic people, toxic masculinity, toxic femininity, toxic relationships … does toxic actually mean the same as the term “perfidious”? This term refers to a person’s actions who deliberately exploits the trust of another person or group of people in order to gain an advantage in business or private relationships. The conscious generation of such a trust through appropriate measures is often an essential part of a perfidious action. Do you know people who act like that? Just stage the trust relationships in order to gain advantages? Is that to be equated with toxic behavior, or in your opinion something else? And how can you see that early?
