A 47-year-old is accused of raping women for at least a decade, mainly in the ex-o’clock and Marseille, having previously been unknowingly diminished with a strong hypnotic.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office announced today that the defendant will be tried at the Bush Criminal Court.
Seventeen women have turned against the 47 -year -old, who represented the hypnotherapist and suggested to his victims to “treat them” through hypnosis. He has been exercised for rape by administration on the victims of some substance with the aim of “altering their judgment”, for “harmful substances” and for the recording and images of sexual nature, without the consent of the persons appearing there.
The suspect is held from March 2021. The events for which it is accused were unfolded from 2010 to 2021.
In 2019, a 24 -year -old young woman sued him, explaining that she met him at a night out. After meeting several times, he was persuaded to undergo hypnosis. She drank a glass of wine offered by the suspect, feeling a wave of heat and then woke up with only blurry memories of what happened. The suspect was found in her nails and underwear. He acknowledged that he had a lot of women with a strong hypnotic.
Marilu Diamantara, the lawyer of five of the victims, said it was a “unprecedented case”, explaining that “this is not the rapist we meet coming out of a nightclub.”
“There is a preparatory mechanism, prescribes and buys medicines, he has them with him. And, at a given moment, he has all these victims, the girlfriends he took care of and for which he was a person of trust, “he commented.
This case is reminiscent of the shocking case of Giselle Pelico. The issue of the “chemical submission”, unknown to the general public, has taken on a large dimension with the trial of Masan’s rape in late 2024. Dominic Pelico was sentenced to 20 years in prison for falling into his wife and inviting others to be unknown.
On Wednesday, the Montpellier Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that there was a prosecution of a gardener who allegedly raped and filmed 15 women, including minors, after granting strong sedatives unknowingly.
