Lagoa revives tradition with watershed staged through the city streets

Lagoa will be the scene of the staging of Via Sacra, on April 4, at 21:30, a representation that will travel to the city streets, providing a moment of reflection and spirituality to the community. The route will start at the Largo of the Convent of S. José.

After a few years of interruption, the city resumes this tradition, promoting a path of faith and devotion that brings together the community around the recreation of the last moments of Jesus Christ.

The initiative is organized by Laparmex (Parish Communities of Lagoa, Parchal and Mexilhoeira of the Charging) and the Youth Group Natus in Spe, with the participation of volunteers of all ages. Lagoa City Hall and Lagoa TV support the event, reinforcing its impact on local religious experience.

The sacred way is a Christian tradition that symbolizes the walk of Jesus to the crucifixion, evoking values of faith, sacrifice and hope. This outdoor staging will allow the public to follow each of the stations, intensifying the spiritual experience of Lent.

The organization invites the entire population to attend and to participate in this unique moment of spirituality and communion.

This event has the support of and Lagoa TV, and has Radio Maria Portugal as Media Partner.
