Monitoring by electronic anklet, Marcelo da Silva Pessoa, 34, was arrested on charges of rape of a 14 -year -old teenager who has autism. The arrest took place on the afternoon of Thursday (20), inside an apartment on José Magalhães Street, in the Conquista neighborhood of Rio Branco.
According to police information, 14 -year -old MMS’s mother came home after another day at work and went to talk to her daughter, who reported having suffered the rape for Marcelo about two days ago, and that it would be the third time the girl had been raped.

According to information from the victim’s mother, who said her daughter is autistic, the girl has been constantly enticed and raped by her neighbor. In the reports, the mother stated that Marcelo lives next to her apartment and that the teenager showed the injured private parts, reporting that at least three times was raped by the author.
In the teenager’s report to the 1st Battalion garrison, she said that in the “first time I was in the bathroom, taking a shower.” He looked at me for that bathroom window, saying that I looked at him kind of different and that I wanted him. My door was unlocked, I said I didn’t want to force me.
“The second time, I was at his house, and he said he was my mother’s cousin. He said he was going to buy salty. But when I got there, I was very surprised, because I didn’t know he was there. Then he took a long time to leave. He also spoke beautiful words, the same words, the same things. It was always beautiful words. And I had no protection.
Before the garrison took the criminal to the Specialized Women’s Care Police Station (Deam), the victim said that that day the alleged perpetrator had done nothing, and the last time it had been two days earlier.
With the information, the PMs gave Marcelo prison and led the 34 -year -old man to Deam. However, in conversation with the duty delegate, he said that, although there was no flagrant in the offense, he would only hear the parties to advance a future inquiry of the crime and release Marcelo.
The teenager was attended at Barbara Heliodora maternity and was accompanied by the medical and psychosocial teams of that unit. The victim was sent to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML), where he underwent carnal conjunction examinations.
The case is being investigated by agents of the Specialized Women’s Assistance Police Station (DEAM).
