Elon Musk tried to reassure the employees of . during what called “a little turbulent time”, after the automaker’s actions in just three months.
“If you read the news, it looks like Armageddon,” Musk said during a general meeting broadcast live on Thursday night by the X platform. The CEO joked that he can’t go through a television without watching Tesla on fire, and mocked his critics. “I understand if you don’t want to buy our product, but you don’t have to destroy it. This is a little irrational.”
Musk then resumed a known speech, stating that Tesla’s vehicles will soon be able to drive alone. Although the company has not yet fulfilled these promises – Musk himself recently called himself as “the boy who screaming wolf” – he has repeated an allegation made since 2016 that the Teslas have been at a software update to become autonomous.
“What I am saying is: keep your actions,” he said, being applauded.
Tesla’s shares fell up to 1.4%to US $ 233.06, before Friday’s auction opening. The role has plummeted from the $ 479.86 record on December 17.

“There are times when things get turbulent,” Musk told employees. “But what I mean is that the future is incredibly brilliant and exciting. Let’s do things no one has even dreamed of.”

Dan Ives, an analyst at Tesla Securities and Historical Defender, said the meeting was a “first step for Musk to show that he will lead the company during this troubled period.”

Earlier this week, Ives made a rare criticism of Musk, asking him to move away from the Trump administration and focus again at Tesla. He warned that the damage to the brand came to a “moment of crisis tornado for Musk and Tesla.”
