It arrested it on Thursday (20), in São Lourenço (MG), one of the participants of 2023. The man, sentenced to 17 years in prison, stole a replica of the 1988 Constitution of the headquarters of the (Supreme Court).
According to the Federal Police, he was on the run and was arrested with the help of the Military Police of Minas Gerais.
The man was convicted of the crimes of violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, coup, qualified damage, deterioration of listed heritage and armed criminal association.
In addition to the arrest, he was sentenced to pay, along with the others involved, an indemnity of $ 30 million for collective moral damages.

The original copy of the constitution that is part of the STF collection was not the target of the scammers and remains at the Supreme Court Museum, in the Três Powers Square, in Brasilia.
