The president of, came with a representation in the House Ethics Council against Deputy André Janones (Avante-MG) for breach of parliamentary decorum.
In the document, filed on Thursday (20), the party of claims that Janones would have lied in his previous defense on the council last June, that there was no “cracked” in his office.
The argument of the PL is that, although Janones deny the practice, he has now signed an agreement with the (Attorney General’s Office) in which he admits the irregularity and undertakes to reimburse the damage, in exchange for avoiding being criminally prosecuted.
An excerpt from the commitment document says that the parliamentarian expressly confirmed that he asked an advisor to “arrange an additional credit card” on his behalf. “This card was used by the commitment [Janones] to pay personal expenses during 2019 and 2020. The respective invoices were paid by the advisor, without discharge, by the commitment, to date. “
The parliamentarian pledged to pay R $ 131,500 to the repair of damage by and thus not being prosecuted criminally. It will also have to pay another $ 26.3 thousand of fine.
The ANPP (Agreement of Criminal Non-Persecution) was approved by the minister of (Supreme Federal Court) on Wednesday (19).
“The actions of the represented, lying to this House, in the fallacy that it did not commit illegal practice of ‘cracking’, and later, after the beginning of judicial procedures, confess the practice of the aforementioned crimes, demonstrate the obvious breach of parliamentary decorum, and the clear disrespect for the House of Representatives,” says the representation of the PL.
The deputy published a video on social networks denying that he lied and accusing his opponents of lying. He calls the agreement with the “administrative question” PGR.
“What happened was the conclusion of a legal agreement to resolve an administrative issue, without any crime involved. I agreed to pay a fine to prevent a process without foundation was dragged for years. And this was approved by Minister Luiz Fux, proving that there was no confession of any crime. The facts speak for themselves,” he added.
The parliamentarian also said that it was a lie that the agreement would be the confession of the crime and that it was being spread “by the same political group that turned corruption into a way of life,” he said, quoting the Bolsonaro clan.
He says that the prosecutor can propose this kind of commitment “having the investigated confessed formal and circumstantially confessed to the practice of criminal offense without violence or serious threat and with a minimum penalty of less than four years.”
In the video, Janones recalled the accusations of “crack” against Bolsonaro and his children, as well as cases of real estate paid with cash.

The deputy, known for being a defender of President Lula on the networks, had been indicted by the Federal Police in September on suspicion of passive, embezzlement and criminal association crimes.
When the case was revealed in 2023, Janones vehemently denied the practice of the “crack”. He said he would give up his secrecy and had not received “a single penny” from advisers.
The website Metrópoles revealed an audio from the parliamentarian in which he requested advisers help to pay expenses related to a 2016 campaign for the Ituiutaba City Hall (MG), when he was second in the dispute.
In June last year, the House Ethics Council filed a representation against the parliamentarian. The agency endorsed, by majority vote, to the thesis of the rapporteur of the process, (), that there would be no way to speak of breach of parliamentary decorum by alleged acts committed before the investigated has taken over the term.
