The Army of Sudan assumed full control of the presidential palace in the country’s Carture Center, this Friday (21.mar.2025), according to a statement. The achievement represents one of the most symbolic gains in the 2 -year conflict with RSF (fast support forces), which threatens to divide the country.

The Sudanese Armed Forces also said they took control of ministries and other important buildings in the center of cartoon. Military sources said RSF’s fighters retreated to approximately 400 meters away.

The Sudanese army shared soldiers videos in the palace applauding the achievement. In the records, the building appears with its broken glass windows and walls marked with fire holes. Many Sudanese welcomed the news that the military had taken control of the palace.
