A week of World Theater Day, SIC went to meet the backstage of the musical “A Beauty and the Monster” in Politeama, in Lisbon.
The musical “Beauty and the Monster” has been played by the Politeama Teatro team over 250 times. In the behind -the -scenes shadows, SIC went to know how the backstage of the piece works.
Since its debut six months ago, the musical has been seen by over 150,000 people and as on the first day, it all starts behind the scenes.
For over 20 years inna Lisnyak has helped bring the shows to the Polyteama stage. Among the last -hour patches, she is the director of the scene and was responsible for the choreography of the play “A Beauty and the Monster” which has a special dance behind the stage.
Anderson Goal is no longer acrobat to devote himself to the role of technical director. Coordinates a team of nine people who guarantee the safety of all who work between scenarios of over a thousand pounds, markings, machinery and platforms in a coordination where actors and dancers also help put everything in the right place.
The “beautiful and the monster” will be at Politeama until May 4th.
