The Israeli Defense Minister said on Saturday (22) that the Lebanese government is responsible for any rocket launch from its territory, adding that he instructed the military to respond to “according to” to the shots of rockets.
Later, the Lebanon’s Prime Minister warned of the potential renewal of military operations in the south of the country.
“All security and military measures should be taken to show that Lebanon decides on war and peace issues,” said Nawaf Salam in a statement after Israel attacked cities in southern Lebanon in response to a rocket launch.
