The Quinta do Pateiro Environmental Impact Study in Silves (Faro), which provides for the construction of a 600 -bed “high quality” tourist village, is in public consultation until April 24.
“It becomes public that the EIA elements [Estudo de Impacte Ambiental] From Quinta do Pateiro are available for consultation, for 30 business days, from March 13 to April 24, 2025, on the website of E NO, ”says the Silves Chamber in a statement.
According to the note, the project results from the assignment of 600 tourist beds in a zone framed by the Quinta do Pateiro Detail Plan, whose objective is the “development of a differentiated tourist product, respecting the natural values present, which seeks to mitigate regional asymmetries”.
In the portal participates, which provides information on the processes subject to public consultation, it is underlined that it is intended to implement a “high quality tourist village with five star classification”, with an urbanizable area of 30% of the total property area (about 627,000 m2), making an area of approximately 180,888.00 m2.
“The Quinta do Pateiro Tour Village project aims to appreciate and respect for the natural characteristics of the place, enhancing it and preserving it in a balanced and extremely thorough way”, reads on the portal.
The village will consist of unifamilial accommodation units, leisure spaces, services and collective support equipment for the entire venture, adds the text.
