The Arrascaeta and Nico de la Cruz socks, both from Flamengo, were cut from the Uruguayan team to play against Bolivia, on Tuesday (25/03), at 4,000 meters from the city of El Alto (BOL). The information was given by the Uruguayan Federation this Saturday (22/03).
In the statement, however, Uruguay gave no details about the cuts.

Arrascaeta and La Cruz: how they are
Arrascaeta was a starter against Argentina, Friday, but felt pain in his right thigh and was replaced 41 minutes into the first half. It was from La Cruz that entered the place, playing until the end of the game, which was victory of Argentina 1-0, in Montevideo (URU).
Flamengo shirt 10 did image tests this Saturday, but the result has not yet been released.
About the cut of La Cruz, the site “GE.com” says that the reason is to save the player of physical wear caused by altitude. Fla shirt 18 has no injury.

Another Flamengo player who was cut by selection on this date fifa is midfielder Gerson. He left the Brazilian team after feeling the left thigh at stake on Thursday, when Brazil beat Colombia 2-1.
