Corregedoria investigates police action of the 77th DP in Santa Cecilia, with drug trafficking; 3 were removed and 2 prisoners
The Corregedoria of the Civil Police of the State of São Paulo is investigating the involvement of civil police from the state capital with drug trafficking.
The investigated agents worked in the 77th Police District, in the Santa Cecilia neighborhood, in central São Paulo.
According to (Public Security Secretariat), in January, 2 civil police officers involved in the case were arrested. In February, 3 agents were removed after the search and seizure warrants at the investigated residence.
“Investigations continue to clarify the facts and investigate the involvement of other police officers. The Civil Police stresses that it is a legalist institution and all deviations of conduct are punished with the rigor of the law.”said the SSP.
