An Israeli air strike in Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip on Sunday killed Hamas’s political leader, Salah al-Bardaweel, the Palestinian and Hamas media advances.
The Pro-Hamas media, cited by Reuters, states that the air strike killed Bardaweel, a member of the military group’s political office, as well as his wife. The Israelite authorities have not yet commented on the news.
Israel resumed attacks against Gaza on Tuesday, abandoning a ceasefire agreement that began on January 19.
Palestinian authorities revealed that at least 400 people were killed only on Tuesday.
