Australian Oscar Pastri led the China GP from end to end and finished victoriously on Sunday’s race (23). Dropping at pole position, he even shared a double from McLaren with his teammate, Lando Norris, who was second.
Pistri recovered from the disappointment at the opening of the season, which took place at his home on the 16th. China’s Formula 1 Grand Prix is his third career victory and the first of 2025.
George Russell finished third by Mercedes, while Red Bull’s current champion Max Verstappen comes in sequence. Already Saturday’s Sprint winner, Lewis Hamilton, was sixth. For Sauber, Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto finished in 17th position.
The Pastri Vacist took from Norris what would be the third consecutive victory, including the one that ended last year’s season.
