The role that Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, has played in the Trump administration once again triggered protests in the United States. This Saturday (22), there is a record of demonstrations in various locations in the country.
According to CNN, about 90 Tesla showrooms in the United States face demonstrations in the fifth week of the “Tesla Takedown” movement. The broadcaster reported that the protests are partly due to the cutting of staff and budgets of the federal government promoted by the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) led by Musk.
Bloomberg pointed to demonstrations outside Tesla’s showroom at Cherry Hill in New Jersey. Reuters reported that about 100 people stirred posters and danced in protest outside a Tesla dealership in the capital Washington, on Saturday (22), annoyed with the CEO of the electric vehicle manufacturer.
The CBS recorded protest in the southwest of the state of Michigan, in the city of Troy. The demonstrations take place at Somerset Collection, a city shopping mall. Troy is in the Metropolitan Region of Detroit. New demonstrations are scheduled for tomorrow at the same place.
