The Rajko Mitić stadium is not in South Burgenland. Really. And yet there could be a flashback for one or the other player of the Austrian national team on Sunday – in long -past, perhaps long -forgotten times. “Yes, the changing rooms are not in the stadium complex,” says an employee after the press conference on Saturday. He smiles. A little mischievously as if he knows exactly what the question is aiming for. The players have to complete 240 meters in the tunnel under the stadium. With normal walking pace, the path takes around three minutes, in a quick step about two – that would not be a problem in Southern Burgenland. In Belgrade it can become an eternity. Because there is the Rajko Mitić stadium.
