Two people were injured in a traffic accident of two passenger cars, which occurred on Sunday (23 March) on the road I/16 in Lučenec. A driver of one of the cars and his minor passenger was taken to the hospital. The Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Banská Bystrica informed about it on the social network.
A traffic accident occurred in the evening on the road I/16 in the Lučenec district Opatová, two passenger cars collided on the main traffic. The driver of one of the cars suffered injuries with the duration of treatment over 42 days. His minor passenger suffered minor injuries with treatment within seven days.
All the emergency services intervened at the scene of the accident, both injured were taken from the accident scene to the hospital. “Alcohol consumption by drivers was not found on the spot, the damage incurred on vehicles was estimated at 5000 euros,” The police stated that a traffic accident is still under investigation.
