Civil Police investigates death of grandmother and granddaughter

On Saturday (22), Marley Gomes de Almeida, 53, and her granddaughter Ana Carolina Almeida Anacleto, 11, were found dead indoors. In one of the walls of the property, located in the city of Jataizinho, Paraná, there was a message of excuses written with blood, according to the Military Police (PM-PR). “DECURPE MAE (SIC),” said the message.

The agents reported that the victims were found by Marley’s son. According to the police report, the victims were in bed and showed signs of violence. The two had scarves tied around the neck and were covered by a comforter.

The scientific police conducted the expertise on site. The case is still being investigated by the Civil Police (PC-PR). Information on suspects and possible motivations for the crime was not disclosed.
