The EU reiterates the support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine while the US and Russia negotiate in Saudi Arabia
The EU has reaffirmed on Monday its unwavering support to Ukraine and its territorial integrity and has rejected the assignment of Ukrainian territories to Moscow as a currency of change in peace negotiations. This has been reiterated by the EU exterior spokeswoman, Anita Hipper, in a press conference in which he has also rejected as “farce” the illegal referendums organized by Russia in four Ukraine regions in September 2022 and then annexation.
The statements are produced while US delegations and Russia negotiate in Saudi Arabia, as a step towards a largest agreement, a truce in the black Sea that allows the safe navigation of ships that transport the agricultural products of both countries.
“These referendums were a total farce and were made at a gunpoint.
