Meeting idealized by Federal Deputy Zé Trovão will be held in the auditorium of the National Confederation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism
This Tuesday (25), in Brasilia, authorities will discuss the future of public administration in. The event “The necessary state modernization” will bring together major political, business and expert leaders to discuss ways to make the state more efficient, modern and less bureaucratic. The goal is to boost a qualified debate and mobilize leadership from different sectors in the search for measures to modernize public administration, ensuring greater efficiency, transparency and better service to society.
The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the National Confederation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC), in the North Banking Sector, and will be attended by strategic figures for this transformation, such as the President of the Federal Court of Audit (TCU), Vital do Rêgo, the former President of the Republic, and deputies of opposition to the government, such as Zé Trovão (PL-SC) and Pedro Lupion (PP-PR).
In addition to these leaders, the Senator, President of the Progressives (PP), Senator Efraim Filho, President of the Parliamentary Front of Commerce and Services, and representatives of the productive sector, such as João Diniz (Cebrasse), Felipe Salto (Warren Investimentos Economist), Felipe Tavares (CNC Chief Economist), Jefers Bittencourt (Head of Wing Macroeconomics) and Juan Carlos Arruda (Director General of Political Ranking).
The event has the support of more than 120 entities in the productive sector, including the National Confederation of Commerce (CNC), Fecomercio-SP, Cebrasse and the ranking of politicians. The presidents of these entities will be present: José Roberto Tadros (CNC), Ivo Dall’acqua (Fecomérosp), João Diniz (Cebrasse) and Juan Carlos Arruda (ranking of politicians).
“This event is a milestone in the search for a more modern state, efficient and aligned with the demands of Brazilian society. The last administrative reform has happened over 30 years ago and since then the world has changed dramatically: Professions have disappeared, new technology has revolutionized the labor market, but the state remained heavy, expensive and inefficient. Strengthen the National Congress to advance with a robust administrative reform that really makes a difference to the country, ”says Deputy Zé Trovão, creator of the event and proponent of the administrative reform working group.
It is also expected that governors will attend to enrich the debate. At the same time, the federal government also intends to carry out a broad administrative reform, with a proposal that should be presented by the Ministry of Management and Innovation by April 2025. The intention is to replace Decree-Law No. 200/1967 and make the legislation compatible with the Federal Constitution, ensuring a more agile and updated state.
