The Red Cross office in the Gaza Strip was damaged by the projectile, Israel admitted a mistake and announced an investigation.

The International Red Cross Committee (MVČK) said on Monday that his office in Rafah in the south of the Gaza band was damaged by an explosive projectile. Israel applied for an attack in which no one was injured and stressed that this was a mistake. TASR took information from AFP.

“Today, the MVČK office in Rafah was damaged by explosive projects, despite being clearly marked and all parties were informed about it,” the organization informed. “Fortunately, no employee was injured in this incident, but it has a direct impact on the ability of the MVCK to carry out its activities. MVČK strongly condemns the attack on its premises,” he said in a statement.

Israel applied for the attack on Monday evening, but stressed that the situation was incorrectly evaluated. According to their own words, the building identified suspects who posed a risk to Israeli troops.

“After the investigation, it was found that the identification was incorrect and that the building belonged to the Red Cross. At the time of shooting, the forces were not aware of the building’s belonging,” the army said in a statement, adding that the incident would be investigated.
