Do you need to wash the jars before throwing them away?
Glass glasses from food products such as finished sauces or soups should be inserted into green containers for glass separation. However, some people ask if they need to be washed before ejection.
The glass must not be contaminated with oils, chemicals or colors. In general, there is no need to wash the glasses before use, just empty the cups well. In addition, the closure should be stored in a container for metals and plastics. Ideally, however, only clean glass should go to the glass collection containers.
However, if we throw the glass quite rarely, it is better to rinse the glasses before throwing into the basket at home. This will prevent any unpleasant odor that could spread from the residues that remained in the container.
