The survey showed that 46 % of Poles support the exchange of PIS candidate after revealing that Karol Nawrocki has performed under a pseudonym and praised his own candidacy.
Almost half of the Poles think that the opposition party Law and Justice (PIS) should replace its presidential candidate Charles Nawrock in connection with new information about his past. This stems from a survey published on Monday by the Onet portal, says TASR, according to PAP.
When asked whether PiS should change its presidential candidate in connection with the revelations of Nawrock, 46 percent of respondents answered positively, 22 percent disagreed and a third could not comment.
WPOLSCE24 Television last week has published information that Nawrocki published in 2018 the book Niko’s confession from behind the grave under the pseudonym Tadeusz Batyr. Nawrocki subsequently confirmed this information.
At the same time, under this pseudonym, he allegedly publicly praised himself. According to the portal, the ONEET under this name appeared in public with a hidden face and altered voice, and he was positive about himself as a candidate for president. On Nawrocki social networks, he claimed that he had personally met Bartyr and recommended his book.
Support for the exchange of candidate was the highest among coalition voters third journey (71 percent), left (64 percent) and civil coalition (60 percent). Among the fans of the Confederation, he agreed to an exchange of 46 percent and, among the Voters of PiS, which officially supports Nawrocko, 31 percent of respondents think it should be replaced.
The survey was carried out by UCE Research on a sample of 1008 respondents aged 18 to 80 years from 22 to 24 March.
