Belarusian opposition calls for Radio Free Europe

Minsk/Prague – The Belarusian opposition leader Swetlana Tischanowskaja has spoken out for the preservation of the US foreign broadcaster Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL). “Free media are our connection between the truth, between people in exile and the people in the country,” said the politician living in the EU-Exil in a speech in the Lithuanian Parliament in Vilnius. “When these media die, they will be replaced by propaganda media.”
