After two years, China released five local employees of the American company Mintz Group, which she detained during interventions against foreign companies with multinational ties. Informed AFP.

In March 2023, the Chinese authorities took five Chinese employees of the Mintz Group to the Chinese employees and forced the company to stop their local activity. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs subsequently stated without further details that the company is investigating suspicious illegal activities.

In the same year, Reuters, referring to unnamed sources, informed that the Mintz Group was involved in testing the possible use of forced work in the supply chains linked to the Chinese Sin-Niang region.

“According to our information, all MINTZ Group employees were detained in Beijing, all Chinese nationals, released,” its spokesman said on Tuesday.

A company based in New York specializes in investigating fraud, corruption and accusations of breach of work discipline, as well as reviewing information. In its 12 branches in the world, more than 280 people employ.

In 2023, the Chinese authorities also focused on other US companies. According to CNN, the detention of this five has proved to be the beginning of extensive intervention against advisory companies and companies conducting comprehensive control (DUE Diligence), including Bain & Company branches in Shanghai and Capvision Partners.
