Singer Emanuel celebrates his birthday on Tuesday, March 25. The Portuguese artist turns 68 years old and was therefore on SIC’s ‘Casa Casa Casa’ program, to the conversation with Diana Chaves and João Baião.
At the beyond, when he spoke of his first singlesigned with the pseudonym ‘Emanuel’, the singer explained that unknowingly chose as stage name the one that his father would like to have placed him.
“My father told me ‘I wanted to baptize with the name of Emanuel’, the priest did not leave me”He said, explaining that he chose the name by intuition, without being aware of this episode.
About the real name- Américo Pinto da Silva Monteiro- Emanuel confessed: “I feel emanuel, I confess, it’s my name, and I haven’t changed the record yet because I haven’t had time yet but one of these days I will change. I’m talking seriously, I’m Emanuel”confessed.
