MPAC opens procedure to investigate police aggression against motoboy in Rio Branco

The Expert Prosecutor’s Office of External Control of Police Activity in Rio Branco has established a procedure to follow investigations into the aggression of a motoboy for a police officer out of service. The incident occurred after a traffic accident in the Acrean capital and generated repercussions on social networks after the release of a video showing the aggression.

This Monday (24), the prosecutor Maria Fátima Ribeiro met with representatives of the category of motoboys to explain the measures adopted by the Public Prosecutor of Acre (MPAC). It is important to monitor the case and the adoption of necessary measures to ensure that the case is tightly clarified.

The video, which circulated widely on social networks, shows a policeman assaulting the motoboy after the accident. The Rio Branco Civil Police are already conducting investigations to identify those responsible and take appropriate action.
