PSP has detained 12 people over the weekend, including two for drug trafficking and one sought by the court to serve eight years in prison, the security force announced.
The three arrests were made in Portimão, the municipality of the district of Faro, situated the PSP in a statement, stressing that one of those detainees for drug trafficking is 17 years old and was already “referenced by criminal practices” and the man sought by the court still presented false documentation, but his identity was then confirmed by the police.
The PSP said that the 17 -year -old detained for drug trafficking, seeing a police car, “stressed escape at a speed and was throwing ‘objects’ to the ground,” but would eventually be intercepted by police officers.
The agents then recovered the discarded material during the attempted escape and found that the young man had tried to dispel 26 individual doses of hashish, ready for commercialization, proceeding to his arrest.
The other detained for 48 -year -old drug trafficking was the target of police action when, during a patrolling action, the agents saw that he was “transacting a gangthement”.
In his possession were 80 individual doses of hashish and agents made the detection, justified the PSP, stressing that a home search was also done to the suspect’s residence, “having been seized additionally 456 individual doses of this same narcotic product, a precision scale, 330 euros and other objects and materials related to this illicit activity”.
PSP also gave additional information about the detention in Portimão, in compliance with a court order warrant, of a man sought by the court to serve a sentence of eight years in prison for “crimes against property.”
Upon being approached by the agents, the target of the detention warrant presented fake identity documentation, but his true identity was confirmed and the agents complied with the detention warrant, the police corporation said.
The security force also mentioned that, during the end of Senana, driving arrests were also made with levels of alcohol in the blood higher than the legally allowed, driving without legal qualification or driving of a seized vehicle.
