Infralobo, a company dedicated to sustainable management and the well-being of the community, celebrated World Tree Day with two initiatives that reinforce its commitment to environmental preservation and ecological sensitization, within its social responsibility program, the Green Smile Infralobo project.
On March 25, at 09:45, the new garden of. This requalification, performed by infralobo services, created a greener, sustainable and cozy environment for the entire school community. The project was designed and suggested by the school students themselves, highlighting the active involvement and the growing environmental awareness of the student community.
The ceremony was attended by Telmo Pinto, president of the Parish Council of Quarteira, and Carlos Manso, president of the Board of Directors of Infralobo, who highlighted the company’s commitment to create healthier and sustainable environments for the community, especially for the younger ones.
Later, at 11:00, Infralobo promoted a plantation action of olive, succulents and seeds in Almancil. The initiative had as its main objective to sensitize students to preserve the environment, encouraging respect for nature through practical action.
In addition, students had the opportunity to develop a direct connection with nature and reflect on individual role in the protection of natural resources. The activity also included a guided tour of the school’s facilities, promoting the sharing of good environmental practices and the reinforcement of cooperation between partners.
The two initiatives inserted in the Green Smile Infralobo project are a reflection of the company’s continuous commitment to sustainability and community involvement in actions that generate positive impact on the territory.
Initially scheduled for March 21, activities were postponed to March 25 due to adverse weather conditions.
