Project provides 17.6 km of roads and 15 stations between Guarulhos and the center of the capital; Works should start in 2026
The São Paulo subway opened this Monday (24.mar.2025) the bid for the construction of the 19-Celest line. The project foresees the connection between the Maia Bosque, in Guarulhos, and Anhangabaú, in the center of São Paulo.
The hiring includes the elaboration of the executive project and the execution of the works. The winning company will be responsible for building 17.6 km of roads, 15 stations and a maintenance courtyard.
It is estimated that the works begin in 2026 and be completed within 6 years and 3 months. The government said it intends to sign the contracts and start the executive project by the end of this year.
Stations
The 19-Celest line will feature 15 stations. The first five will be located in Guarulhos, and the others in São Paulo. They are:
- Guarulhos: Bosque Maia, Guarulhos-Centro, Vila Augusta, Dutra (integration with line 2-green) and Itapegica;
- São Paulo: Jardim Julieta, Vila Sabrina, Cherry, Santo Eduardo, Vila Maria, Catumbi, Silva Teles, Cerealist, São Bento (integration with line 1-Azul) and Anhangabaú (integration with the 3-red line).
The government estimates that the line will serve 630,000 passengers per day. The modal will have 31 trains and should reduce the travel time between Guarulhos and Sao Paulo by an hour.

- Deals with Jardim Julieta Station (inclusive) – Vila Maria Station (Inclusive);
- It also involves the courtyard, ventilation wells and emergency exits; and
- Public session scheduled for 05/06/2025.

- Relates to VSE-01 Excerpt-Jardim Julieta Station (Exclusive);
- Includes stations, ventilation wells and emergency exits; and
- Public session scheduled for 04/06/2025.
All warnings mention that the edicts will be available from this 3rd (25.mar.) And that the bids will be conducted electronically.
