SP governor says that former president did not articulate an attempt blow: “I have never seen Bolsonaro Armando outside the Constitution”
The governor of Sao Paulo, (Republicans), said on Monday (24.mar.2025) that he will testify as a defense witness to the former president (PL) in the inquiry into the attempted coup d’état.
“When they asked me now if I would be a defense witness to the president, I said of course. Obviously I will be. And for a simple reason: I accompanied Bolsonaro throughout his presidency and, in a way, had the privilege of being one of his closest ministers.”said Tarcisio in an interview with the podcast INTELLIGENCE LTDA.
The governor was included in the list of witnesses in the defense submitted to the Supreme Court (STF) in the proceedings arising from the complaint of the PGR (Attorney General of the Republic). Read A (PDF – 7.9 MB).
“I have a great gratitude. I will always be grateful. I will always be loyal. I have never seen the President setting up to do something out of the Constitution. No movement, nothing”said Tarcisio.
The Supreme Court (STF) will decide on Tuesday (25.mar) if Bolsonaro and 7 others will become defendants by attempted coup d’état in 2022.
The former president is part of the 1 of the 4 groups reported by PGR. According to investigations, this group represented the central core of the criminal organization, responsible for strategic decisions and social impact actions.
