United States President Donald Trump said on Monday that he could grant “several pauses in tariffs to various countries,” but said he will announce additional overfins in the coming days. New rates should reach sectors such as cars, wood and chips, as well as penalizing countries that maintain business with Venezuela, as it had announced earlier.
“I will announce additional tariffs on cars, wood and chips in the coming days,” said Trump. “I want and probably I will announce car tariffs in the coming days already,” he said.
The US President also explained his early announcement that tariffs for those who market with Venezuela “will be added to the rates in force.”
Despite the protectionist climbing, Trump signaled flexibility in some cases, stating that “not all tariffs will start on April 2,” but did not mention the exceptions.
Elections
Trump also spoke about the US electoral process. According to him, “if we had a fair election, there would be no inflation” in the country today.

The Republican mentioned that he intends to remove any electronic US voting system and that we “want to return only to paper banknotes” in the claims.
The US president also said he intends to leave the vote concentrated in just one day, without the possibility of performing early vote by post office, as already happens in the country.
