The stoppage, organized by the Single Federation of Petrolers (FUP) and the National Federation of Petrolers (FNP), aims to press the management of the company for improvements in various areas. Two main points stand out on the oil tankers’ agenda. The first is the updating of the variable remuneration plan, which includes the company’s profit sharing. Workers claim that there has been a 31% loss in this regard over time, which has negatively impacted their remuneration. The second point of dissatisfaction is the recent change in the teleworking regime. Since Covid-19 pandemic, Petrobras has adopted a hybrid model, allowing two days of face-to-face work and three days of remote work.
However, President Magda Chambriard changed this configuration to three face -to -face and two remote days, generating discontent, especially among administrative officials who benefited from the previous model. During the 24 -hour strike, demonstrations and pickets are planned at Petrobras facilities. Despite the mobilization, the production of oil and gas from the state should not be significantly affected, according to the organizers.
