Any traffic restrictions on the border crossing points for the Slintec and the Bwelling (SLAK) will only concern the entry and transit of freight transmission of receptive animals. TASR informed Zuzana Hrabovská from the Communication and Prevention Department of the Presidium of the Police Force.
“In cooperation with the competent authorities, the police are continually taking preventive measures to prevent the spread of SLAK in the territory of the Slovak Republic,” she said. She added that the police will inform the public in more detail within the next hours.
Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok (Voice-SD) on Wednesday announced that all small border crossings between Slovakia and Hungary will be closed for Slak, which was confirmed in the next fireplace in Hungary. According to him, the decontamination gates and fords will be placed on the large border crossings such as Rajka, Medveďov, Komárno and Štúrovo.
