Embraer () hit the sale of 15 e190 jets to Japanese company All Nippon Airways (ANA), with the possibility of acquiring another five aircraft, in a business of almost $ 10 billion. The announcement was made on Wednesday, 26, in Tokyo, by the President of the Republic, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, at the end of the Brazil Business Forum.
At the time, the Prime Minister of Japan, Shigero Ishiba, and entrepreneurs from various sectors were also present.
“Embraer is very happy with this sale of up to 20 aircraft. Ana, besides being the largest airline in Japan, has a very strong image in the aviation sector. This decision for Embraer planes reinforces and endorses the product, and will be important for us to enter other airlines from other countries,” said Francisco Gomes Neto, president of Embraer, by detailing the ad.
In the speech to entrepreneurs, Lula said sales could be even more extensive. “I can tell Prime Minister Ishiba that Embraer planes are of great quality. Those who buy 20 can buy a little more and maybe all Japanese companies can fly by Embraer plane,” said the president.

The Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho, said that there was also advance in a sustainable aviation fuel cooperation agreement (SAF). “Japanese airlines have full interest in being able to fly through SAF and Brazil tends to be a major exporter of this fuel in the future,” he said.
