Fourth largest equipment rental company in the world, French Loxam will invest, through its subsidiary in Brazil, an amount of R $ 30 million to expand its operations. The company, which operates in 30 countries, has global revenues of 2.4 billion euros (about R $ 14.4 billion, for today’s quote) and presents itself as the only multinational of the sector to operate in the Brazilian market. Along with the investment, the company announced the unification of its operations in the country under the same brand.
With this, the companies under the umbrella of the Brazilian subsidiary, Degraus and Motormac Rental, operate with the same corporate reason, Loxam from Brazil. The French company landed in the country in 2015, with the acquisition of step scaffolding and machines. In 2023, the group acquired Motormac, a gaucho company for machine and equipment. Transactions were not revealed.
