Do it in the garden before spring comes. You will forget about the existence of pests

Your garden has been attacked by pests? In that case, put chemical agents aside and prepare natural spraying from … peppers. It turns out that homemade products are extremely effective, of course if we use them regularly. Peppers will help to chase snails and aphids from our area.

They are the bane of many gardeners. They can completely destroy all crops. Most often they attack young seedlings and cuttings, causing their abnormal development. These pests eat leaves and even whole plants.

Snails pose a threat to both decorative plants, i.e. nasturtiums, velvet or lilies, as well as for fruit -growing crops. Strawberries, wild strawberries and raspberries, which attract these pests, are particularly susceptible to their attacks. Damage often also affects brassica vegetables, carrots and beets.

The problem becomes more severe on warm and humid days, when snails are the most active, and flower discounts and vegetable beds are then most exposed to damage.

Aphids also spend their night’s sleepless gardener. These pests feed on vegetable juice, weakening shoots, leaves and buds, which leads to plant deformation and inhibition of their growth. Untreated infections can lead to dying of specimens and significant losses in crops.

The aphids were particularly liked by roses, daisies, nasturtiums and geraniums. They are also happy to feed on beets, cabbage, cucumbers and potatoes.

We only need to prepare homemade spraying for snails and aphids 5 l of water and 0.5 kg of fresh pepper. It can be both sweet and chili. This vegetable contains capsaicin with insecticidal properties. So how do you prepare a natural product for these pests?

Cook the vegetables in the water for about an hour and set aside the prepared decoction for 48 hours. After this time, strain it and pour into a container with an atomizer. We use pepper spraying for snails and aphids every 5 days in the event of a large invasion, while preventively every 10 days.

Spraying is best done early in the morning or evening to avoid burning plants by the sun. After the rain, the agent can be washed away, so we should repeat this treatment.

Before use, it is worth shaking the bottle so that the ingredients mix well. Regular use of this natural remedy helps to effectively reduce the pest population without the use of chemistry, harmful to the environment.
